你想想,要是只会说 "I am good","You are bad",那跟个机器人有啥区别?

(Greetings and Small Talk)

早上好是 "Good morning!",下午好 "Good afternoon!",晚上好 "Good evening!"。要是好久不见,可以说 "Long time no see!"
  • 询问近况: "How are you?" I'm good, thanks. And you?" 或者 "I'm doing well, thank you."。如果想更具体点,可以问 "How's it going?" "Not bad." "Could be better."。要是关系近,还可以问 "What's up?" Not much.", "The usual.", "Just chilling."。
"How's the weather today?" 回答 "It's sunny/rainy/cloudy today."。或者直接评论 "Nice weather, isn't it?" 对方一般会附和 "Yeah, it is."。
  • 初次见面: "Nice to meet you!" "It's a pleasure to meet you." "I've heard so much about you." 介绍自己的时候,"My name is..." 或者 "I'm..."。问对方名字,"What's your name?" May I have your name?"。

(Expressing Gratitude and Responses)

"Thanks." "Thanks a lot." "Thank you so much." "Thanks a million." 如果别人帮了你大忙,可以说 "I really appreciate it." 或者 "I appreciate your help."。
Thank you for the gift. It's beautiful!" This dinner was delicious. Thank you for having me." Oh, thank you. You're too kind."。
"Not at all." "Don't mention it." "My pleasure."

有时候,别人帮了你,你可能不好意思光说谢谢,想请人家吃个饭啥的,就可以说 "Is there anything I can do to return the favor?"

(Apologies and Responses)

"I'm sorry." "I'm so sorry." 如果耽误了别人时间,可以说 "Sorry to keep you waiting."。 Oh, I'm sorry. Are you okay?"。
  • 更正式的道歉: "I apologize for..." 比如 "I apologize for the delay." 或者 "I must apologize for what I said earlier." 。
  • 请求原谅: "Please forgive me." "Forgive me for being late."。
"It's all right." "No worries." 如果觉得没什么大不了的,可以说 "Don't worry about it."。

The traffic was terrible."

(Requests and Offers of Help)

"Would you mind...?" "May I...?" 开头。比如 "Could you pass me the salt, please?" "Would you mind opening the window?" "May I borrow your pen for a moment?"。 也行,但前面最好加个 "Hey, can you...?"。请求别人做比较费劲的事,可以说 "I was wondering if you could possibly help me with..."。
Sure." "Of course." "No problem." "Certainly." "I'd be happy to."。
Let me think." "I'm not sure, but I'll try."。
可以说 "I'm sorry, but I can't." "I'd love to, but I'm afraid I can't right now." "I wish I could, but..."。
  • 提供帮助: "Can I help you?" "Do you need any help?" "Would you like a hand with that?" 在商店里,店员可能会问 "Are you being helped?"
Yes, please." "That would be great." "Thanks, I'd appreciate that."。
No, thank you. I'm fine." "I can manage, thanks."。

(Expressing Opinions and Feelings)

"In my opinion..." "From my point of view..." "As far as I'm concerned..." "I believe..." "It seems to me that..."。比如 "I think this movie is great." "In my opinion, we should go for a walk."。如果想委婉地表示不同意,可以说 "I see your point, but..." 或者 "That's an interesting perspective, however..."
"I'm feeling..." "I'm happy/sad/angry/excited/nervous about..."。比如 "I feel really happy today." "I'm a bit nervous about the exam."。 "I'm really upset."。
  • 询问观点和感受: "What do you think?" "How do you feel about...?" "What's your opinion on...?" "Are you okay? You look a bit down."

比如,与其说 "You're wrong.",不如说 "I don't agree with that."。

(Making Suggestions and Giving Advice)

  • 提出建议: "Why don't we...?" "How about...?" "Let's..." "What if we...?" "I suggest that we..." "Maybe we could..."。比如 "Why don't we go to the cinema tonight?" "How about trying that new restaurant?"。
  • 给出意见/建议: "You should..." "You ought to..." (应该,语气比 should 强一点) "If I were you, I would..." 比如 "You should see a doctor." "If I were you, I would talk to him about it."。
That's a great idea." "Good idea." "I think that's a good suggestion." "Sure, let's do that."。
I'm not sure about that." "That's a good idea, but..." "I don't really think that's the best option."。
Could you explain that a bit more?" "What do you mean by that?"。

可以先问一句 "Do you want some advice?"

(Compliments and Responses)

You look great today!" "That's a beautiful dress!" "You did a fantastic job!"。 You're so smart." "You're really kind." "I admire your courage."。 This cake is delicious!" "What a lovely house!"。
比如 "Thank you! I'm glad you like it." "Oh, thank you. That means a lot to me." "You're too kind." You're making me blush."

(Invitations and Responses)

Wanna grab a coffee sometime?" "Do you want to come over for dinner this weekend?"。 We would be honored if you could join us for dinner."。如果对方可能不方便,可以加一句 "If you're free, of course."。
Sure, I'd love to." "That sounds great! What time?" "Thank you for inviting me. I'd be delighted to come."。
Oh, I'd love to, but I'm afraid I'm busy that night." "Thank you so much for the invitation, but I can't make it this time. Maybe next time?"。 Sorry, can't. Maybe another time."

How about 7 PM at the cafe near your place?"。

(Talking About Plans and Arrangements)

  • 询问计划: "What are your plans for...?" 比如 "What are your plans for the weekend?" "What are you doing tonight?"。如果知道对方可能有安排,可以用 "Are you doing anything special...?"。
  • 表达自己的计划: "I'm planning to..." "I'm going to..." "I'm thinking of..." "I intend to..."。比如 "I'm planning to visit my grandparents this weekend." "I'm thinking of learning a new language."。
  • 安排约会/活动: "Let's meet at...?" "How does... sound?" (... "Are you free...?"。比如 "Let's meet at the library at 3 PM, okay?" "How does going for a hike on Saturday sound?"。

如果是很确定要做的,用 "be going to" 或者 "will"。如果只是个初步的想法,用 "be thinking of" 或者 "plan to"。

(Describing Things and People)

比如 "This box is big and heavy." "The apple is red and juicy." "The sweater is made of wool." "The soup is a bit salty."。
She is tall with long hair." "He has a beard and glasses."。 He is very outgoing and funny." "She is kind and helpful."。 She is wearing a blue dress and white sneakers."。

有时候,一些生动的比喻也能让描述更形象,比如 "He runs as fast as a cheetah."

(Talking About Hobbies and Interests)

  • 询问兴趣爱好: "What do you like to do in your spare time?" "What are your hobbies?" "Are you into...?" 比如 "Are you into sports?"。
  • 表达兴趣爱好: "I like/enjoy/love..." "I'm interested in..." "I'm keen on..." 比如 "I like listening to music." "I'm interested in photography." "I love playing basketball."。
  • 具体活动: "I usually go jogging in the morning." "I enjoy reading novels in the evening." "I'm a big fan of movies." "I like to cook on weekends."。

What's your favorite movie?"

(Talking About Past Experiences)

  • 询问经历: "Have you ever been to...?" "Did you ever...?" "What was your best/worst experience...?" 比如 "Have you ever been to Japan?" "What was the best trip you've ever taken?"。
"Yes, I have. I went there last year." "Oh, yes, I did that once. It was amazing." "My best experience was..."。 比如 "I went to Paris last summer. The food was delicious, and the architecture was stunning."。

(Talking About Future Plans and Intentions)

  • 询问未来打算: "What are your plans for the future?" "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
  • 表达未来打算: "I'm going to..." "I plan to..." "I hope to..." "I want to..."。比如 "I'm going to study abroad next year." "I plan to start my own business someday." "I hope to travel around the world."。
  • 对未来的展望: "I think the future will be..." "I'm excited about..." "I'm a bit nervous about..."。比如 "I think technology will change our lives a lot in the future." "I'm excited about my new job."。

(Ordering Food in a Restaurant)

  • 服务员招呼: "Hello, welcome to [Restaurant Name]. Do you have a reservation?" "Table for how many?" "Would you like a table by the window or in the back?"
  • 客人回应: "Yes, I have a reservation under [Name]." "No, we don't. Is there a table available for two?" "By the window, please."
  • 点餐: "Can I get the menu, please?" "Could I also get some water, please?" "I'd like to order the [Dish Name], please." "What's the soup of the day?" "Is the [Dish Name] spicy?" "What do you recommend?"
  • 点饮料: "I'll have a Coke, please." "Can I get a glass of red wine?" "Still water or sparkling water?"
  • 上菜和用餐中: "Excuse me, this is not what I ordered." "Could I get a knife and fork, please?" "This is delicious!" "Could I get the bill/check, please?"

点餐的时候,如果对某个菜不确定,可以问服务员 "What's in the [Dish Name]?" 结账的时候,可以问 "Can I pay by credit card?"

(Asking for and Giving Directions)

  • 问路: "Excuse me, could you tell me how to get to [Place Name]?" "Sorry to bother you, is this the right way to...?" "Where is the nearest...?" 比如 "Where is the nearest subway station?"。
Go straight ahead and turn left/right at the first corner." "It's on your left/right."
It's about a five-minute walk from here." "It's quite far, you'd better take a bus/taxi."
You can't miss it. It's next to the big bank/post office."
  • 回应指路: "Thank you so much for your help." "Sorry, could you say that again? I'm a bit lost." "Is there any landmark I should look for?"

如果自己也不确定,最好说 "Sorry, I'm not sure. You could ask someone else."

(Shopping Scenarios)

  • 进店打招呼: "Hi, can I help you find anything?" "Just looking, thanks."
  • 询问商品: "Do you have this in size M/color blue?" "How much is this?" "Is this on sale?" "Do you have a similar one but in a different style?"
  • 试穿/试用: "Can I try this on?" "Where is the fitting room?" (化妆品等) "Can I have a sample?"
  • 付款与结账: "I'll take this one." "Do you accept credit cards?" "Can I get a receipt, please?"
  • 退换货: "I'd like to return this." "I'd like to exchange this for a different size." "What's your return policy?"

购物的时候,如果对价格不满意,可以礼貌地问 "Is this the best price you can offer?"

(Phone Conversations)

"Hello, this is [Your Name] speaking." "Good morning/afternoon/evening, [Company Name], [Your Name] speaking. How may I help you?"
  • 打电话: "Hello, may I speak to [Person's Name], please?" "Hello, is [Person's Name] there?"
  • 确认对方身份: "Is that [Person's Name]?" "Speaking." "Who's calling, please?"
  • 对方不在: "I'm sorry, [Person's Name] is not available at the moment." "Can I take a message?" "Could you ask him/her to call me back when he/she is free?"
  • 结束通话: "Thank you for calling." "Goodbye." "Talk to you later."

如果信号不好,可以说 "Sorry, the connection is bad. Can you hear me clearly?"

(Agreeing and Disagreeing)

"I think so, too." "You're right." "Exactly." "That's a good point." "I couldn't agree more." "That's true."。比如 "I agree with you. This plan is feasible."
  • 表达不同意 (委婉): "I see your point, but I'm not sure if I agree." "I'm afraid I don't agree." "That's one way to look at it, but..." "I have a different opinion." "I'm not so sure about that."
"I'm sorry, but I disagree." "That's not right."

That idea is terrible.",不如说 "I don't think that idea will work because..."

(Expressing Possibility and Uncertainty)

"Perhaps..." "It's possible that..." "There's a chance that..." "He/She might..." "He/She could..." "It might rain tomorrow." "Perhaps we should leave earlier."
  • 表达不确定性: "I'm not sure." "I'm not certain." "I don't know for sure." "I'm not really sure about that." "It's hard to say." "I'm not sure if..." 比如 "I'm not sure if he will come." "It's hard to say what will happen next."
  • 表达不可能性: "It's impossible that..." "...can't/couldn't be..." "There's no way..."。比如 "It's impossible for him to finish the work in an hour." "There's no way it's true."

在表达可能性的时候,可以用 "probably" (很可能) 来增加一点确定性,比如 "He will probably be late." 。表达不确定性的时候,可以加上 "I think" 让语气更委婉,比如 "I think I might be late."

(Expressing Likes and Dislikes)

  • 表达喜好: "I like/love/enjoy..." "I'm a fan of..." "I'm crazy about..." 着迷) "I really like..."。比如 "I love chocolate." "I enjoy listening to classical music." "I'm a big fan of that band."。
  • 表达厌恶: "I don't like..." "I hate..." "I can't stand..." (我无法忍受) "I'm not fond of..." 比如 "I hate spiders." "I can't stand the smell of cigarettes." "I'm not fond of rainy days."。
  • 询问喜好: "Do you like...?" "What do you think of...?" "Are you into...?" "How do you feel about...?"
Yes, I do. I really like it." "Oh, yeah! It's great." "I love it!"
No, I don't really care for it." "Oh, not really. It's not my thing." "I'm afraid I don't like it very much."
It's okay." "It's not bad." "I'm not sure. I haven't tried it yet."

比如 "Oh my god, I absolutely love this song!" Well, different strokes for different folks."
